Lebnani Abyad

$34.00

This orange has a pale golden, slightly hazy hue, offering lively aromas of peach, lychee, guava, citrus, apricot, honey, and ginger. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and vibrant, with soft tannins, bright acidity, and flavors of tropical fruits, summer berries, mineral notes, and a long, tart finish. At 12.5% alcohol, it’s a versatile wine best served chilled, ideal with seafood, grilled fish, appetizers, or Mediterranean dishes.

Description

This is a natural skin-contact orange wine from Qannoubine and Bekaa Valleys of Lebanon. This blend features Merwah (70%) and Sauvignon Blanc (30%), sourced from organic vineyards. Named “Lebnani Abyad” meaning “Lebanese White” to celebrate local heritage. The grapes are hand-harvested, with Sauvignon Blanc partially destemmed and pressed, free-run juice added back on skins in stainless steel, fermented for three weeks followed by two weeks maceration. The Merwah slow fermented on skins for three weeks, then blended, using native yeasts, bottled unfiltered, unfined, and with minimal added sulfur.
