Fins Als Kullons

$34.00

With a brilliant ruby hue, it straddles red and rosé, offering aromas of tart red berries, cherry, floral notes, and fresh earth. On the palate, it’s light-bodied, juicy, and crisp, with bright acidity, crunchy berry flavors, and a mineral finish. At 11.5% alcohol, it’s highly drinkable, best served chilled, and pairs well with smoked meats, funky cheeses, or pizza. Often sold in 1-liter bottles, its playful style reflects the winemaker’s rebellious approach to winemaking, breaking traditional rules for a vibrant, terroir-driven expression.

Description

Fins Als Kullons is a natural red/rosé wine from Catalonia’s Upper Penedès region, Spain. This unconventional blend combines roughly equal parts Xarel·lo, Garnacha Blanca (white grapes), and Sumoll (red grape), sourced from Demeter-certified biodynamic vineyards on calcareous-clay soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, co-fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, and aged for 9 months in cement tanks. Bottled unfiltered, unfined, and without added sulfites, it’s a minimal-intervention wine.
