Finca Parera is a family-owned winery in Catalonia’s Penedès region, located in Sant Llorenç d’Hortons, Alt Penedès, Spain. Founded in 1999 by third-generation farmer Jordi Parera and his son Rubén, a fourth-generation winemaker with degrees in agricultural engineering and oenology, the winery spans 22 hectares of biodynamically and organically certified vineyards. Cultivating native varieties like Xarel·lo, Sumoll, and Garnacha on calcareous-clay soils, they practice minimal intervention, using native yeasts, no sulfites, and vessels like concrete and clay. Beyond grapes, the estate grows cherries, olives, and vegetables, emphasizing biodiversity and sustainability. Their natural wines are known for vibrant terroir expression, drinkability, and complexity.
